History of Catholic Health Care Services

Catholic Health Care Services, part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, has been serving those in need of care since the Sisters of Bon Secours opened the doors of St. Francis Country House in Darby to serve "convalescing new mothers" in 1913. Since then we have grown to include a family of nursing homes throughout the Philadelphia region as well as independent and assisted living options for seniors. Various community options such as adult day programs and senior assessment and referral services are available to caregivers looking for assistance.
